A: No, Fundraiser is designed for Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7.
Q: I have an existing donor database - how straightforward is it to transfer the
information from my database to Fundraiser?
A: Very straightforward: this is achieved via a process that ensures information
is not damaged, and that also ensures that groupings of information are preserved
during the transfer. Infosoft has qualified personnel that can effect this quickly
and accurately. I think there are a number of duplicate fields in my database.
Q: Can I remove these during the transfer?
A: Yes, the method that we use to effect the transfer can identify and remove these.
Q: Can we create mail merge lists that can be used to receive bulk mail discounts?
A:Yes, Fundraiser uses a postcode table supplied by New Zealand Post. When you create
a mail merge list, Fundraiser automatically assigns a postcode to it. You also have
the option to pre-sort the mail merge list in postcode order to qualify you for
bulk mail discounts.
Q: Can I use Microsoft Word to create mail merge letters?
A: Yes, Microsoft Word can use a list from Fundraiser to print form letters and
labels as well as many other functions supplied by Microsoft.
Q: Can I write my own reports using the information in Fundraiser?
A: Yes, Microsoft Access or any ODBC compliant report writer can view the information
in Fundraiser.
Q: Is Infosoft continuing to develop Fundraiser?
A: Yes. As part of our Fundraiser Vision, we are committed to continuous improvement
of the package based on technical advances and feedback from users.
Q: What is the latest version of Fundraiser?
A: Fundraiser Professional is the latest version of the Fundraiser family. Fundraiser
Express is also currently available.
Q: Can Fundraiser be used by more than one user at a time?
