In recent years Nicola has been fortunate to
utilise her business skills in an area she is passionate about. Nicola is

clients in the greater Auckland area. Nicola is available on an hourly or short
term contract rate.
Reference: “Nicola Edwards has worked for our Cancer Society Wellington region as a
volunteer IT Project Manager on our very successful Daffodil Day. In such a
competitive charity market having Nicola’s skills and experience on board was a
tremendous asset to the profitability of our flagship campaign. Nicola was a
highly regarded member of the team and valued by all, and I hope one day to have
the pleasure of working with her again.”

FRANCES BIDMEAD
Wellington Regional Fundraiser Business Analyst
My independent support, analysis and training for Fundraiser clients help them
to understand and organise their contact base and to use Fundraiser confidently
and effectively. By working alongside clients and understanding their business
needs as well as the varying needs within their organisation I ensure that all
staff from Administration (recording contact information), to Accounts
(processing donations), to Marketing staff (data segmentation and
communication), work accurately, efficiently and successfully.
The real
difference that I bring is to ensure that staff work effectively with the
complete solution of tools, practices and habits. Consequently I provide an
effective bridge between the technical specialists at Infosoft and the client
organisation with their everyday wider range of needs.
Reference: Sound management of a fundraising database is key to success.
Working with Frances Bidmead enabled Life Flight to ensure the full capabilities
of the database were utilised and that the system was adapted to suit our
particular business and strategic aims. Frances was able to fully comprehend the
needs of our business by taking a verbal brief from relevant staff. Frances then
set about adapting the ways in which we used the database on order to meet our
objectives. Frances provided solutions, trained staff and wrote the Life Flight
business guide to Fundraiser ensuring that we were using the database in its
full capacity and maintaining the integrity of our data.
In addition, Frances
provided the bridge between fundraising staff and database technicians; the
‘language gap’ between these two specialists is often the barrier to
successfully implementing a fundraising database. Frances’ ability to understand
both the technical aspects of Fundraiser and the language of
marketing/fundraising enabled us to move forward to the right solutions.
Frances’ work has streamlined our internal systems and processes, improved the
way in which we communicate with our supporters and ultimately saved time and
money for Life Flight whilst ensuring we can maximise our future results. I
would not hesitate in recommending Frances to any charity who wants to make the
most of their investment in a database.
